Dan's medical career began in 1976 when he joined the United States Air Force and became a corpsman, working in the base hospital in Labor and Delivery. Following his military tour, he attended the University of North Dakota, graduating Cum Laude in 1980 in Physical Therapy. Since then he has went on to earn:
-Manual Therapy Certification in December, 1993
-Orthopedic Physical Therapy in April, 1994, becoming one of the first professionals in Omaha with this achievement.

-American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
-Orthopedic and Women's Health Section
-Private Practice section
- Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA)
-American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists
Dan has been a guest lecturer at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and Clarkson College, as well as several Omaha hospitals and Nebraska PTA chapter meetings.
Dan began his career in private practice following graduation and incorporated Skyline Physical Therapy Services on October 8, 1987. Skyline PT is celebrating 20 years of service to patients in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. History includes over 25 years of treating patients, both pediatric and adults in the school setting, home health agencies, nursing homes, state facilities for the mentally handicapped, as well as institute for the brain injured.
